Affirmations – for self improvement

Affirmations are present tense positive statements, when repeated consistently for a period of at least 21 days can change our core beliefs. The repetition is necessary in order to replace negative beliefs in the subconscious mind. The statements when said with strong emotions of belief and when repeated at least 3 times are more likely to be accepted by the subconscious mind.

If you feel like you just cannot believe the statement, e.g. “I love myself”. You can insert the word “willing to” as a way of bridging the gap, so you affirm with complete emotional conviction, “I am willing to love myself”.

I have used affirmations for years and have seen in myself and others miraculous results. Statements people at first are averse  to become comfortable truths. You don’t have to believe me, you just need to be open to commit to repeating the positive affirmation for at least 3 times a day for 21 days.
